Hamiltons Gallery, London, hosted my first solo exhibition. It ran from 4th September to 4th October 2023, introducing images made in the South of France between 1972 and 1976, and notably featuring a suite made on La Voile Rouge beach in Saint-Tropez.
The first of my images to be shown by Hamiltons was a five-foot high print of ‘Lucilla, Taunton Mews, London, 1977’ presented at Paris Photo, November 2019.
A pleasing ‘first’ is the inclusion of one of my photographs in the exhibition ‘Breasts’ in Venice. This multi-artist, multi-media exhibition, curated by Carolina Pasti, aligns with the 2024 Venice Biennale. The image selected is ‘Lucilla (breast), La Voile Rouge beach, Saint-Tropez, 1976’.
